Technology to take centrestage at Birla Public School

Over a 1000 projects showcasing the students flair for innovation in science and technology will be displayed at the exhibition titled ‘Spectrum 2012’ at the Birla Public School. This annual event will be inaugurated on Saturday October 20, 2012 at 8am in the Basant Kumar Birla auditorium. (School Auditorium)

The event has generated much interest since its inception and has provided a platform for students to create what they have conceptualised in the classroom. The exhibits will include still and working models as well as powerpoint presentations. “The main objective of the exhibition is to draw the latent talents of students and to enhance their confidence by providing an opportunity to display their exhibits. The event also hopes to help the students to keep abreast with the changing technology” opined Shiney Joseph, Headmistress and Head of Chemistry Department. 

Hydrogen powered car, Pyroboard Sidron, Audio Spotlight, Robots, Steams tornado, Fire Alarm system are some of the highlights of the year.

The exhibition is organised jointly by the Science and Math Departments. The event is open to the public on the inaugural day from 8am to 12.30pm and 2.30pm to 6.00pm. The Peninsula
