DOHA: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education will start receiving exceptional applications for admission in government schools for children of expatriates working in private sector starting from May 22 until June 5, 2022 for the academic year 2022-23.
The required documents are the student’s birth certificate, passport, last school certificate, guardian’s passport (father - mother), a certificate from the guardian’s employer with total salary, and bank account statement for the last three months before the date of submission, and the rental contract of the house.
Other additional documents will be also needed according to the cases: a dependency certificate approved by a legal authority, a divorce certificate approved by a legal authority, and a disability report (for audio-visual disability).
The applications will be submitted through official website of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education through the public services portal during the period available for submission through the link https://eduservices.edu.gov.qa/Service.aspx?service=RFE.
According to the announcement, the guardian should ensure that the Qatari ID card is valid for the father, mother, and student for exceptional application of admission.
If there is a personal number, you must first log in before starting the service, and follow the login instructions found in the user manual for the system.
Regarding the application for children of Syrians and Yemenis working in the private sector who do not have Qatari ID numbers, the application is made using passport data, and the service can be started directly without logging in, and it is exempted from previous login requirements.
