Doha: The department of Meteorology said that the dust mass is expected to gradually vanish this evening and the fresh Northwesterly wind will continue until this weekend, strong at places with blowing dust at times, and the marine warnings also continue.
The administration said in a statement that the country was exposed to the dust wave that was formed in Iraq and affected Qatar from the late hours of last night and dawn today, affecting all areas.
The weather service called on citizens to avoid direct exposure to this dust and wear masks to avoid entering the respiratory tract and advised land and sea goers to be careful of the strong winds and the low horizontal vision and urged them to follow safety measures.
