The State of Qatar participated via vide conference in the General Assembly of the 169th session of the International Bureau of Expositions (BIE).
Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic and Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to BIE H E Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani headed the delegation of the State of Qatar to the meeting.
In his speech during the meeting, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic reiterated Qatar’s commitment to hosting the Doha Horticultural Expo 2023, stressing that preparations for hosting this first event of its kind in the Middle East continue at an accelerated pace.
