Doha: The National Commission for Culture and Arts, through Sentro Rizal (Manila), invites Filipinos around the world to participate in ANINAG: Photo Essay Competition, under the theme, “Pagpupugay sa Migranteng Filipino Tungo sa Pagbangon Mula sa Pandemya."
The theme for the competition is in line with the celebration of Month of Overseas Filipinos (MOF) and International Migrants Day in December.
“ANINAG: Photo Essay Competition provides a platform for Overseas Filipinos (OFs) to showcase their skills in photography and storytelling. A photo essay combines these two elements in a series of images that convey ideas or tell a story. In accordance with the theme, we are looking for photo essays that capture stories of OFs in light of the COVID-19 pandemic that has greatly affected the world this 2020,” a statement said.
All Overseas Filipinos (OFs), including migrant workers and immigrants, aged 15 and above can submit their entries to the competition.
"Aside from highlighting the talents of Filipinos in photography and storytelling, the competition shall also create a space where OFs can share their unique stories in this time of pandemic," the Philippine Embassy said in a post on its official Facebook page.
The deadline of submission for all entries is on November 23, 2020 (Monday).

First prize for the competition is certificate plus Php 25,000 cash. Second and third prize also will receive a certificate each and Php 20,000 and Php 15,000 respectively.
