Doha: Deputy Amir and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar University H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani chaired the third meeting of the Qatar University Board of Trustees for the academic year 2021-2022, which was held at the Amiri Diwan today morning.
At the outset of the meeting, the Board reviewed what has been implemented of its decisions and recommendations taken during the first meeting of the academic year 2021-2022. It also discussed the topics on its agenda and took appropriate decisions, including the approval of a proposal to amend the academic year 2022-2023 calendar.
The approved also approved the establishment of a sub-specialization program in taxation at the College of Business and Economics, in addition to approving the establishment of a specialization program in aeronautical engineering at the College of Engineering.
