Beirut: Qatar participated in the Arab Forum for Sustainable Development (AFSD), which is being organised by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) from March 15 to 17 at the organisation’s headquarters in Beirut.
Qatar’s delegation in the Forum is headed by Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) H E Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi.
During his speech at the opening session, Al Hammadi highlighted Qatar’s efforts in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, and its contribution to international efforts to address this pandemic, by providing support to countries in need and relevant international organisations.
