Gaza: The Palestinian Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced that the total number of residential units that had been either demolished almost entirely or partially damaged due to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip exceed 280,000 units.

In a statement on Sunday, the ministry indicated that since day one of the war its personnel have been conducting an initial field inventory of the entirely or partially demolished units, emphasizing that the Israeli offensive rendered them uninhabitable.

According to the action plan, the initial inventory will be finalized within two weeks.

Thereafter, the ministry will embark on detailed inventory in coordination with international entities and institutions operating in the construction field, the statement reads.

The statement highlighted that the detailed inventory includes all demolished and damaged units, including the habitable ones.
