Doha: The Medical Service Department at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) recently launched a first of its kind mobile unit to provide dental care services.
The mobile unit will provide emergency dental care services to the employees of the Ministry, said Brig Khalifa Abdullah Al Noaimi, Director, Medical Service Department.
It will also help the staff maintain good oral health practices and will enhance the relationship with the employees, he said.
The unit equipped state of art equipment, which is used to treat dental problems, and has a generator that can be used in emergency cases.
Services such as radiology, treatment and medicines are available in the newly launched mobile unit.
It can treat approximately ten people daily and the mobile unit is operational five days a week, between Sunday and Thursday.
