Doha: The groups and schedule for the FIBA U18 Asian Championship 2022, which will be played in Tehran, Iran between August 21 and 28, was confirmed yesterday.
Team Qatar will play in Group C alongside Chinese Taipei, Philippines and Syria.
Iran, Lebanon and Japan were drawn Group A while Group B includes China, India and South Korea.
In the Group Phase four games will be played daily, from August 21 to 23. A draw will determine the pairings of the Quarter-Finals.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place on 24 and 26 August respectively, whereas the final will be played on the 28th.
The timing of all the games of the Final Phase will be announced after the end of the Group Phase.
The Azadi Basketball hall in Tehran will host all the games of the competition.
