Al Sadd players celebrate winning the Emir Cup. Al Sadd beat Al Qiyadah 23-21 in the final held at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall on Thursday night. Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al Thani, Vice President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), handed over the gold medals, the winner’s trophy and QR300,000 to Al Sadd. Al Qiyadah went home richer by QR250,000.Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the QOC Secretary General, and Ahmed Abdulrab Al Shaabi, president of Qatar Handball Association were also present.
