Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has urged eligible and healthy individuals to volunteer for blood donation to maintain a sufficient supply during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
“Donating is a safe process and people should not hesitate to give or receive blood,” HMC has said.
Voluntary blood donors can visit the Blood Donor Center next to Hamad General Hospital from 7 am to 7 pm Sundays through Thursdays. Saturdays from 8am to 8pm.
The new Blood Donor Center is opposite OPD and next to Surgical Specialty Center from 7 am to 1 pm Sundays through Thursdays.
