Doha, Qatar: The Asian Snooker Championship ( Qatar 2025 ) kicks off on Saturday, the first of three Asian championships organized by the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation, simultaneously until February 21, with the participation of 87 men and women players from the world's most prominent players, representing 21 countries.
Qatar is currently hosting three continental snooker championships, the first of which is the Asian Snooker Championship for Men, starting Saturday until February 19, followed by the Asian Snooker Championship for Women and the Asian Juniors Under 21 Championship at the same time from February 17 to 21.
The Qatari team is represented in the competitions by five players in the men's championship: Ali Al Obaidli, Muhanna Al Obaidli, Bashar Hussein, Ahmed Saif and Abdul Mohsen Khamis, and one player in the juniors' competition under 21 years, Rashid Al Saadi.
