Doha: Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Thani's health deteriorated this morning due to the pressure exerted on him and was taken to hospital.
This was disclosed by his brother Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Thani during an interview with Al Jazeera Arabic TV channel broadcast this evening.
According to his brother, UAE wants Sheikh Abdullah to stay in UAE in return for allowing his daughters to travel to London.
“I spoke to my brother yesterday and from his voice I felt he is tired,” his brother added.
There is a conflict in information related to Sheikh Abdullah as the access is limited.
“This morning we know that his health was deteriorating due to the pressure exerted on him and he was taken to hospital,” he added.

“We are doing all what we can to protect Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali and free him using the help of relevant international bodies,” his brother added.
Yesterday Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Thani said in a video posted online that he is currently detained in UAE and not allowed to go out of the country.
