Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) is organising from October 16 to June 1, 2023, the "Tamheen" training program aimed at Qatari graduates from Qatar University and other local universities who have obtained certificates in disciplines other than education, to qualify them for the teaching profession.

The program is considered among the pioneering initiatives of the ministry in cooperation with the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau; with the aim of encouraging and attracting Qatari graduates to the teaching profession, by providing an opportunity for those who are interested and have a passion for this profession.

The "Tamheen" program began in 2019 with the first cohort, followed by the second and third cohorts in 2020 and 2021, respectively.

One of the conditions of the program is that the applicant should be a Qatari, working in an appropriate specialisation to teach one of the subjects in government schools, with full-time training during the morning period.
