Dubai: Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi participated yesterday in the World Governments Summit 2025, which is being held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
He participated in a panel discussion organised on the sidelines of the summit titled ‘The Role of Digital Justice in Designing a Better Future for Societies Roundtable’.
The ministerial roundtable discussed the transformative impact of digital technologies on the justice sector, and how these innovations can contribute to building a more just and efficient future for societies.
Participants also discussed key areas related to the role of digital justice in shaping a better future, highlighting opportunities, challenges and strategies that enhance the use of these technologies to uphold the rule of law and serve people.
The Minister reviewed Qatar’s achievements in this field in light of the national initiative for the development of justice systems, praising the State’s interest in establishing the principles of digital justice and enhancing its role in the efficient justice system.
He also appreciated the positive outcomes of the summit in strengthening partnerships and exchanging experiences between participating countries and exploring available opportunities to benefit from modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, to keep pace with developments in societies and meet their judicial needs.
The Minister said that the State of Qatar had organised specialised national and regional workshops in this field with the aim of reaching common visions to improve government work and enhance cooperation between legal and judicial authorities.
He also stressed the State’s aspiration to build close partnerships that contribute to developing the justice system in line with rapid technological developments.
