Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality has announced to opening of an exhibition for locally produced strawberries, figs, and jujubes which is locally called ‘Kanar’ today at Umm Salal Central Market.
The exhibition will be held within the activities of Umm Salal Winter Festival, from February 13 to 19, 2025 from 9am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm.
The event is organised by the Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Department of Agricultural Affairs, in cooperation with Hassad Food Company.
On this occasion, Director of the Agricultural Affairs Department at the Ministry of Municipality Yousef Khalid Al Khulaifi, said that the exhibition will be held to provide direct support to local farmers and enhance efforts to develop national agricultural production.
For his part, General Manager of Aswaq for Food Facilities Management Company Mohammed Ghanem Al Kubaisi, said: “We are proud to organize the Strawberry, Fig and Jujube Exhibition in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality at the Umm Salal Central Market.
