Doha, Qatar: Al Jazeera Media Institute and Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aiming to strengthening human cadres and developing their media skills through training and qualification.
Signing of the memorandum took place at the Institute’s headquarters in the presence of representatives of both sides.
In this context, Eman Al Ameri, Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, expressed her happiness for signing of the memorandum, noting that it comes within the framework of reinforcing the Institute’s relations with local institutions, and giving them the opportunity to benefit from the distinguished media expertise the Institute provides.
Al Ameri added that this memorandum will contribute to achieving common strategic goals aiming to develop cadres of media community in Qatar.
For his part, Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Kaabi, Director of Shared Services Department at Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund, hailed cooperation with Al Jazeera Media Institute, stressing the common values between the two institutions and importance of investing in human element which represents the basis of any institution or society.
Al Kaabi stressed the importance of developing human capabilities in line with the requirements of the modern era. The MoU includes organizing specialized training courses in various fields of media, in addition to organizing joint workshops in order to enrich practical skills and theoretical knowledge of participants.
Signing of the agreement comes as part of Al Jazeera Media Institute’s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with local community institutions in the State of Qatar.
Al Jazeera Media Institute and Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund look forward to the success of this joint initiative and achievement of joint desired goals, which embodied in enhancing and developing media skills of local cadres, thus contributing to achieving sustainable growth and progress that serves all.
