Glasgow: Minister of Environment and Climate Change H E Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani met with United States Deputy Secretary of Energy H E David Turk during his visit to the State of Qatar's pavilion on the sidelines of COP26, being held in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation in the fields of environment and climate change and ways to enhance them. The minister highlighted the efforts Qatar is witnessing in the field of climate change.
The minister also met separately with Algerian Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy H E Fatma Zohra Zerouati and Iraqi Minister of Environment Jassim Al Falahi. During the two meetings, aspects of cooperation in the fields of environment and climate change and ways to enhance them were reviewed.
