DOHA: In an auspicious ceremony held at the Basant Kumar Birla Auditorium, on February 6, 2025, Birla Public School distributed the hall tickets to Grade X students preparing for the CBSE Board examinations 2024-2025.
This significant event marked an important milestone in their academic journey, with students receiving their hall tickets- the essential pass for the upcoming Board exams, set to begin on February 15, 2025.
The ceremony was graced by Principal Dr. Anand R. Nair, alongside the Vice-Principals of the school, Radhika Rele and Edna Fernandes. The Headmistresses (HMs) of the various sections also extended their blessings to the students.
The ceremony commenced with the school prayer, rendered by Hafsa of Grade X (H).
The Headmistress (Secondary School) Lissy Mathew delivered the welcome address.
The school choir, led by John, the music teacher, captured the hearts of the audience with a melodious rendition of ‘Go Light the World.’
Principal Dr. Anand R. Nair, delivered an inspiring message to the students, reminding them of the significance of the transformative impact of this phase in their academic journey.
He also emphasised how their experiences will shape their future. Vice-Principals Radhika Rele and M. Edna Fernandes provided valuable general instructions for the forthcoming examinations and blessings for the students’ future endeavours respectively.
Student representatives, Umesh and Aalia, took the stage to share their experiences at the school and to express their gratitude for the unwavering support and guidance provided by the school faculty, which has not only helped them academically but also shaped their character in ways that will continue to guide them beyond the exams.
The hall tickets were handed over to class teachers of the respective classes. Additionally, certificates were awarded to the students who stood out in various inter-school events. The event concluded on a note of gratitude by Waahida, the Grade X Year Coordinator, who thanked everyone for their support and participation.
This ceremony marked an important moment of reflection and encouragement, empowering the students to approach their upcoming exams with confidence and optimism.
