Baghdad Iraqi air forces and International Coalition against IS have carried out 61 air strikes that targeted some IS positions killiing a number of its elements.
The International Coalition conducted 16 air strikes on Ramadi, Sinjar, Haditha and Al-Shirqat, destroying17 hostile posts, 3 IS concentrations and 5 nests belonging to the organization, Joint Special Operations Command said.
In a statement today, Iraqi Federal Police chief Lieutenant General Raed Shaker said that the 4th Brigade troops have killed 5 militants and destroyed two vehicles carrying individual weapons in an attack that targeted their defensive positions in the eastern axis of Ramadi.
Shaker added that the explosives squad of the 4th Brigade dismantled dozens of explosive devices planted by the militants within the circumference of Peggy and found an explosives workshop in Mutaibijh in Salahuddin province.
