Doha: Jumbo Electronics & LG have signed a sponsorship agreement with the Qatar Volleyball Association last week to sponsor H H the Amir Volleyball Cup 2019.
From Jumbo Electronics, Sajed Jassim Mohammed Sulaiman, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, and C V Rappai, Director & CEO, were present along with Qatar Volleyball Associations (QVA) President, Ali Ghanin Al Kuwari, and Youssef Ahmed Kanuat, Treasurer, at the sponsorship signing event.
The main round of the volleyball tournament began on May 4 with the finals slated for May 17.
Ali Ghanim Al Kuwari expressing gratitude to Jumbo Electronics & LG stated, “This is not the first time that Jumbo Electronics & LG have offered their sponsorship to QVA. We warmly welcome them on board the championship. The Amir Cup is the season-ending event and all the participating teams have put in great efforts to win it every year. They bring some of the best players in the world in a bid to become champions. As a result, the tournament benefits and the sport also prospers.”
