A: Al Sadd Sports Club, winners of the GCC Club Table Tennis Championship, celebrate their win at Al Sadd Stadium on Saturday. Qatar’s Al Sadd team beat Al Samliya of Kuwait 3-2 in the final match to win the championship. Al Ettihad of Saudi Arabia finished third. Al Sadd winning squad consisted of Waleed Nasser, Fahad Al Mughni, Ahmad Muthana and Abdulrahman Al Najar. Besides Al Sadd eight other clubs took part in the championship were Al Ahli, Al Ettihad (KSA), Bahrain, Sar (Bahrain), Al Samliya, Kazma (Kuwait) and Al Nasr (UAE). Khalil Al Mohannadi, President of the Qatar Table Tennis Association handed over the trophy to the winning team. B: Waleed Nasser captain of Al Sadd.
