DOHA: Ooredoo signed yesterday an agreement with Mall of Qatar which will see Ooredoo become the exclusive telecommunications partner for Mall of Qatar’s renowned Oasis Stage. Through this exclusive partnership, Ooredoo is planning for exciting programmes and collaborations related to sports, games, and entertainment.
“I am delighted to announce Ooredoo has signed a one-year sponsorship deal with Mall of Qatar to sponsor this stage at the centre of the Oasis. With this partnership, the stage will now be named the Ooredoo Stage and Ooredoo is planning an exciting Ooredoo Stage programme related to sports, games, and entertainment,” said Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi, Chief Operating Officer, Ooredoo addressing a press conference yesterday.
Mall of Qatar and Ooredoo have already worked together on crowd pleasing and successful events such as the meet and greets with Sir Mo Farah, the inspiring British multiple World, Olympic and European champion, and with Paris St Germain (PSG) stars Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Meunier, Marco Verratti and Kevin Trapp, which gave the local community and sports fans the opportunity to meet their favourite players to get posters and t-shirts autographed.
