The Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States held a closing ceremony in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to honor the winners of the Artificial Intelligence Hackathon and to launch the Gulf Observatory for Artificial Intelligence in Education, which included students from Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys.
Qatar's delegation was made up of students including Abdul Rahman Mohamad Abdullah Al Nashira Al Marri, Fahd Mohamad Hassan Mohamad Abdullah, and Mohamad Nasser Badr Ibrahim Al Badr. They had the opportunity to compete virtually remotely on the platform of the Gulf Observatory for Artificial Intelligence.
The Artificial Intelligence Hackathon is a technical event that brings together students from Gulf member states, with the goal of providing students with innovative artificial intelligence solutions using the skills they learned at the virtual artificial intelligence camp, which was held over three weeks and provided ideas and solutions through two different paths. The first path aims to develop current educational practices using artificial intelligence, while the second path aims to develop educational games by providing creative ideas for the manufacturing of educational games based on artificial intelligence.
Our students' participation in the Artificial Intelligence Hackathon stems from the significance of regional events that allow students to exchange best practices and experiences in the scientific and electronic fields, particularly in light of our students' distinguished scientific achievements.
