Cologne: A delegation representing the Qatar 2015 Men’s World Championship Organising Committee, presided by the head of the Qatar Handball Association (QHA) and Executive Director of the 2015 Worlds Ahmed Mohammed Al Shaabi, arrived here with the purpose to enhance the relationship between QHA and the European Handball Federation (EHF), says a press release. The German city of Cologne is hosting the Champions League matches which is contested by the top club teams from Europe.
FC Barcelona Intersport from Spain, KS Vive Targi Kielce from Poland, and German clubs THW Kiel and HSV Hamburg are contesting in the highly-rated EHF club competition event, the 2013 VELUX EHF FINAL4, which is being held at the famous LANXESS Arena.
Boosting the image of the Qatari handball on European soil and to promote the 2015 Men’s World Championship advertising campaign, are some of the objectives of the visiting delegation.
