DOHA: Qatar University (QU) has been chosen among the most beautiful in the world in a book Most Beautiful Universities in the World published recently.
The book was written by Guillaume de Laubier who said what makes QU campus beautiful is its buildings including modern and ancient Islamic architecture.
It includes pictures of QU campus, library and auditoriums as well as campus like Bologna founded in 1088, Sorbonne University in France and Cambridge University in the UK, among others. QU buildings were designed by Architect Kamal Al Kafrawi in the 1970s.
