Doha: ASEAN Committee in Doha (ACD) has recently held the ASEAN Drawing and Painting Competition 2015 on November 28, 2015 at Indonesian Embassy premises in Doha.
Attended by 150 people consisting of staff, family and community of the ASEAN Member Countries in Qatar, namely Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
It's one of the annual ACD activities for strengthening togetherness and friendship among the ASEAN Embassies' staff, families, ASEAN Communities in Qatar.
The children were categorized in to three according to their age and had to paint on two themes: ASEAN - One Community, One Destination (for 6-10 year); and ASEAN at your glance in the next 10 year (for 11-14 and 15-18 years).
The judges of the Drawing and Painting Competition were Chief of Missions of the ASEAN Member Countries.
The results of the ASEAN Drawing and Painting Competition 2015 are as follows:
6-10 years old category: Jean Tan, Singapore (first); Aaricia, Singapore (second); and Arina Muhamad, Malaysia (third)
11-14 years old category: Rayyan Rizal, Indonesia (first); Phuong Diep Tran, Vietnam (second); and Najla Aleefa, Indonesia (third)
15-18 years old category: Siri, Thailand (first); Phan Hoang Hung, Vietnam (second); and Mea White, Singapore (third)
