Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) at the Convention Center in Glasgow, Scotland, this morning.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to discussing regional and international developments. In this regard, the Ukrainian President thanked His Highness the Amir for the effective contribution of the State of Qatar to the evacuation of civilians and its unremitting efforts in the peace process in Afghanistan.
The meeting was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir.
On the Ukrainian side, a number of ministers and senior officials attended the meet.
