Doha: LG Electronics (LG) yesterday launched its new electric oven in Qatar, designed to provide homeowners with greater convenience and enjoyment as they cook.
The company’s latest stainless steel electric oven (model: LRE3193ST) features LG’s True Convection system which consists of an additional heating element around the fan to cook food faster and more efficiently than conventional ovens. With optimisation for heating algorithms, flow rate and velocity, users can experience faster pre-heating and more even cooking.
LG’s new electric oven benefits from powerful dual burners, boiling water 28 percent faster than gas oven models. Whilst a conventional gas oven of 3,600 Watts may take approximately 16 minutes 54 seconds to boil water, with the LG electric oven, it can be boiled in 12 minutes 05 seconds.
Ideal for large families and hosting, the oven can handle meals of any size. The large capacity, 189litre oven gives users the flexibility to handle a wide range of dishes, including cooking large pizzas (up to 46cm in diameter), roasting a whole chicken and even baking two layers of muffins.
Ergonomic in design, the LG electric oven also boasts LG’s IntuiTouch control system, with IntuiScroll display for increased visibility and ease-of-use. The panel’s left side enables users to operate the cooker top, whilst the controls on the right side are solely for oven functionality. With three strong layers of oven glass, LG’s Safe Touch feature ensures users remain safe whilst cooking by avoiding commonplace burns after contact with oven doors.
Omitting the need for chemical products and sprays, the oven’s interior is lined with a hydrophilic enamel coating. When users have finished in the kitchen, they simply need to spray the oven with water and activate the EasyClean function.
In 20 minutes, LG’s EasyClean technology loosens stains such as light grease and oils, after which residues can be wiped away with ease. With a concealed baker heater, the oven also eliminates hard-to-reach areas, for greater accessibility and visibility when cleaning.
