Doha: Late Rishi Kapoor’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen got released today and to promote his last film Bollywood actors came together to celebrate his legacy.
Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aamir Khan, Farhan Akthar, Arjun Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Adar Jain, Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi were wearing silver jackets and grooving to one of the most iconic songs of Bollywood Rishi Kapoor’s Om Shanti Om from Karz.
The producer of the film, Farhan Akhtar shared on his Instagram captioned, “A memorable actor, an unforgettable icon of the screen #legendsareforever"
For the first time, two actors-Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal will be playing the same character. The story revolves around a retired man who finds his passion in cooking, but his sons are against the decision.
The movie also stars Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar and Isha Talwar in pivotal roles. Sharmaji Namkeen premiered today on Amazon Prime Video.
