Mexican Corner for culture and arts inaugurated at Katara

Doha: General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation Katara Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti inaugurated this morning the Mexican Corner in the courtyard of Building 47, in the presence of Ambassador of Mexico to Qatar HE Graciela Gomez Garcia.
Al Sulaiti said that Katara seeks, through this cultural art project, to celebrate art and artists from all countries and present distinctive pieces of art with civilized meanings that link societies to each other and build bridges of communication between them. The Cultural Village hosted the Turkish Corner in 2019, and in 2020 the Cuban Corner, he added.
The Ambassador of Mexico expressed her happiness with this event, noting that these artistic projects would increase the strong relations between the two countries, and praised the friendship between the Qatar and Mexico.
