Doha, Qatar: The new Smart School Clinic under the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) ‘s School Health Department, Smart School Clinic, offers students the “best” services.

The Smart School Clinic offers integrated healthcare services to students through a licensed, qualified, and trained staff.

PHCC has said that the Smart School Clinic is an example of the integrated healthcare model collaboration between health professionals to provide comprehensive healthcare to students.

Delivering top-tier services, the clinic strives to redefine the healthcare experience for students.

“The Smart School Clinic is the best way to take care of your children’s health,” PHCC has said in the X platform.

The Smart School Clinics are linked with the electronic health records of the students. The school nurses work as healthcare coordinators between the school clinic and PHCC healthcare centers, Hamad Medical Corporation, and the Ministry of Public Health and Sidra Medicine.

It allows school nurses to have quick access to students’ health records when required. School nurses can obtain accurate health information about students through this facility and follow up on the health services provided to students.

“The school clinic is well equipped with all necessary and modern medical equipment, providing health services centered on students’ health,” PHCC has said.

In a recent development, PHCC transformed conventional school clinics into Smart School Clinics to provide safe and updated student healthcare services.

“PHCC and the School Health Department pay close attention to the safety of students through the application of the corporation’s patient-safety related clinical protocols and policies. It ensures that its school health staff go through training and development programs, as well as following up on, and continuously evaluating, professional performance, while ensuring that the highest quality standards are applied,” PHCC said in an earlier statement.

To mention as part of PHCC’s ‘Back to School’ campaign, which started on August 27, it will feature many activities in all public schools for the targeted groups, including educational lectures. PHCC will publish health awareness and educational materials through electronic links that allow users to access them easily. PHCC will also engage parents in Back to School activities.

PHCC’s Back to School campaign activities will also be held at six healthcare centers in Al Wakrah, Omar bin Al Khattab, Muaither, Al Wajbah, Qatar University, and Umm Salal, as well as in all public schools and kindergartens.
