Doha, Qatar: Minister of Labour H E Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, held a series of important meetings on the sidelines of the Global Labour Market Conference (GLMC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
During the conference, he met with several prominent officials, including Minister of Labour of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan H E Dr. Khalid Al-Bakkar, Director-General of the OIC Labour Center H E Azar Bayramov, Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Adviser to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh H E Dr. Asif Nazrul, Minister of Labour, Rehabilitation, and Civil Service in the Government of National Unity of the State of Libya H E Ali Al-Abed; and The Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office [Labour, Youth, Employment, and Persons with Disability] of the United Republic of Tanzania Honorable Ridhiwani Kikwete.
Minister of Labour, met with Minister of Labour of the State of Palestine H E Dr. Enas Hosni Al Attari. During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and enhance collaboration in the labour sector.
The discussions centred on strengthening collaboration and exploring opportunities for mutual growth, particularly in areas such as modernising labour legislation and adopting a unified global approach to address the evolving challenges facing the global labour market.
