Doha: Rafeeq Al-Darb has launched, in its app, payment using Apple Pay, becoming one of the first companies in Qatar to do so.
Rafeeq is providing a new and distinctive service to its customers in order to consolidate the concepts of electronic cash transactions and to provide one of the most widespread services by adding a new option for payment via Apple Pay, which will allow the Qatari application, which is in service since 2018, to offer more options to customers.
Rafeeq already has payment option using bank cards, cash on delivery, in addition to the wallet that provides customers with points that give them the opportunity to purchase from restaurants, cafes, and various stores through Rafeeq. It can be used to shop for foodstuffs, pharmacies or flowers.
Rafeeq has also now added for all its restaurants and cafes the option of adding miles to its customers through the Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
In this context, Abdullah Thamer Al-Hemaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rafeeq Al-Darb Company, said, “I am pleased to announce such a distinguished cooperation to always provide the best for Rafeeq’s customers.”
He added that Apple Pay, which has become a widely used service by international stores, gives Rafeeq customers a lot of security privacy, and speed of delivery.
