5 magnitude earthquake hits central Turkey

Ankara: An earthquake measuring 5 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the central part of Turkey early Sunday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
Tremors were registered at 2:28 a.m. local time [00:28 GMT].
The epicenter was located about 10 miles northwest of the Turkish city of Hekimhan at the depth of 6 miles.
There were no reports of damage or casualties.
