Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and H E Ismail Sabri Yaqoub, Prime Minister of Malaysia held official talks at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday morning.
During the session, they discussed aspects of developing joint cooperation, especially in the fields of economy and investment, in addition to exchanging views on the most prominent regional and international issues.
The session was attended by the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, head of the Amiri court HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Minister of Municipality HE Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, HE Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.
On the Malaysian side, it was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Saifuddin Abdullah, First Minister of International Trade and Industry HE Mohamed Azmin Ali, Minister of Rural Development HE Mahdazir bin Khalid, and Deputy Minister of Works HE Arthur Joseph Korb.
On this occasion, HH the Amir hosted a lunch banquet in honour of the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the accompanying delegation.
An official reception ceremony was held for the Malaysian Prime Minister on his arrival at the Amiri Diwan earlier.
