Doha, Qatar: Doha Municipality has seized a workshop and a warehouse for operating in a labour camp at Al Mansoura.
The residential areas have been allocated for workers to meet their needs and demands. Legal measures have been taken against the violators, and they have been referred to the competent security authorities.
The municipality continued its monitoring and inspection campaigns to implement Law No. (15) of 2010, amended by Law No. (22) of 2019 regarding the prohibition of housing workers within the families’ housing areas.
This is in the interest of the Ministry of Municipality and aims of ensuring safety of citizens and residents in residential family neighbourhoods to achieve the highest levels of comfort for all families in the country.
The Doha Municipality urged people to report any violations through call centre number 184 or send application through smart devices or through the website of the Ministry of Municipality.
