Doha: The annual technical inspection for the renewal of your vehicle registration (istimara) will cost double from July 1, 2018.
Inspection fee for a private passenger car at the Fahes centre will double from QR75 to QR150 from next month.
The fee for motorcycle inspection will be QR100, which was earlier QR50.
A call to Woqod call centre confirmed that the changes will come into effect from next month and this leaves motorists, whose renewal is due, one day to get their inspection done in old rates.
Fahes, the company responsible for the annual and periodic inspection of all road traffic vehicles in Qatar, has revised the technical inspection fees for the various services offered by them with effective from July 1.
The Woqod subsidiary announced their revised charges on twitter and it has already been reflected on their website.
For external inspection, it will be QR250 for private passenger car.
