Doha: Minister of State, Minister for Foreign Affairs, African Integration and the Diaspora of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire H E Kandia Kamissoko Camara stressed the importance of strengthening partnership and cooperation between her country and the State of Qatar in various fields for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Camara said that her country is looking forward to consolidating cooperation with Qatar and opening doors for partnership between the two countries in many fields, including agricultural investment, energy, technology, education, and health, pointing out that her country is essentially an agricultural country and that the opportunities for cooperation are very strong to benefit from the factors of agricultural production and develop them for the benefit of both countries.
She also stressed, in this context, the great role that Qatar can play in developing biological agriculture in her country due to its expertise in this field, in addition to cooperation in the health field.
She noted the technological capabilities of the State of Qatar, expressing her hope to establish cooperation relations between the two countries to develop the technological system in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire to meet the current challenges, noting in this context, the great importance of this sector during the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and the role it played in maintaining communication between individuals and companies through video communication.
On the work of Doha Forum 2022, Camara explained that the Forum plays an important role in gathering world leaders to discuss many issues and problems of concern to the international community, and provides a platform for exchanging views on them in general.
