Doha: Torch Tea Garden is thrilled to celebrate another year of the Cherry Blossom Festival, a tribute to the Japanese Cherry Blossom Season.
Starting on April 5, the second edition of the successful event will take place, lasting for almost a month. In celebration of Japanese Cherry Blossom Season, Torch Tea Garden will produce a delicious a-la-carte menu, including traditional Japanese dishes and signature sushi creations, available to its guests daily (except Monday) from 3.30pm until 9pm.
Special, refreshing mocktails will be served to complement the menu items. Festive atmosphere and decorations, fully blossomed cherry trees in pink and flowery kimonos will be there to celebrate this deeply symbolic season in Japan. The new addition to this year’s festivities will be a two hours’ session of a combined Chef’s Table and Sushi Preparation class. Limited to 10 seats, this private class will be held every Saturday.
The guests, having put on their provided by the hotel kimonos, will follow the chef’s instructions and together they will prepare and savor a unique four-course menu. They will learn how to make sushi and combine different ingredients for a well-balanced and flavorful Japanese meal. A take-away gift at the end of the session will be the complimenting note to a fun class.
Torch Tea Garden is an upscale tea lounge located on the 21st floor of The Torch Doha hotel, offering scenic views of Aspire Park and Doha skyline. It serves an exclusive selection of tea including Japanese and Chinese Tea, with Oolong Tea and White Tea being the most loved choices.
