Doha: Traffic movement at various places in Qatar is reported to be slow due to waterlogging and rain.
Emergency teams from various departments are working to remove the water from the road and police are seen assisting people stuck on roads.
Ministry of interior tweeted that “traffic patrols are stationed at various locations to ease traffic flow. Please be patient and follow the instructions.”
According to MOI social media handle the traffic movement was slow at February 22 road, Corniche, Salwa road, Al-Waab signal and Mannai tunnel due to heavy rain.
It was also moving at a very slow pace at Salwa road.
“Don't risk to drive through water-logging on roads as you don't know the depth or the obstacles inside,” ministry said in another tweet.
