Doha: The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) announced the closing of the registration of foundation level new students for the second term. The study will commence on September 18, while admission continues to be opened for those wishing to join the college level throughout the year subject to fulfillment of admission requirements.

Maryam Abdullah Al Ryami, CCQ Admission and Registration Department Manager stressed the college administration’s keenness to facilitate the admission process for new students from high school graduates, transfer students from other universities, cross-registration students, visiting students, or students wishing to obtain a second university degree in a different specialisation subject to fulfillment of admission requirements.

She revealed that more than 300 students in term 2- English Language Center (ELC) Foundation have been registered, which indicates the importance of the academic programmes and specialisations offered by the college, thus meeting the needs of the evolving Qatari labour market.

Al Ryami pointed out that the demand for the academic programmes and specialisations offered by the college is increasing in demand every year, due to the importance of these and the evolving needs of the local business environment, especially since the college offers a variety of educational opportunities, including associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in both Arabic and English.

Furthermore, as the primary focus of the College is academic excellence, it introduced hybrid learning and developed the flexible learning model through which CCQ aims to reach larger segments of Qatari society by tackling the challenges that come with their personal and professional duties, as well as provide them with the much-needed flexibility to pursue their academic aspirations. CCQ also maintains its long-standing record of providing stellar quality education and academic results.

“The Public Administration Programs are among the most attractive programs for male and female students; it offers associate’s and bachelor’s degrees. This in addition to the Bachelor’s Program in Cyber and Network Security, as well as the hybrid courses which witness a high increase in demand due to the flexibility that helps students manage their time in a way that does not conflict with their responsibilities,” Al Ryami added:

Meanwhile, the admission is still open for Qataris or those born to Qatari mothers who wish to continue their studies and obtain associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in the academic programmes offered by the College throughout the year upon opening the registration, provided that applicants are holders of Qatari high school certificates or its equivalent.
