Ankara: The Turkish Foreign Ministry strongly condemned on Wednesday the attack that targeted its consulate general in Mosul in northern Iraq.
In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that Türkiy strongly condemns the attack on the Consulate General of Turkey in Mosul, which did not result in loss of life, and demanded that those responsible be brought to justice as soon as possible.
The ministry called on the Iraqi authorities to fulfill their responsibilities in protecting diplomatic and consular missions.
The perimeter of the Turkish Consulate in Mosul was attacked by rockets on Tuesday night, causing material damage in the neighborhood without causing deaths or injuries.
