Starlink is launching Cloud Network Managed Service in Qatar

Starlink W.L.L. has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, to provide cloud network managed services in Qatar. 

Starlink W.L.L.  will deliver fully managed networks, including Wi-Fi, LAN and WAN Network solutions, which offer scalability and flexibility on demand for growing enterprise customer needs in Qatar. The innovative solution will offer ‘Network-as-a-Service’ (NaaS) solutions with a diverse range of intelligent capabilities and features powered by the Huawei Cloud Campus platform.

The platform is based on a sovereign cloud hosted in Qatar and is built to deliver security and data access that meets the strict requirements of regulated industries. The managed network solution will offer businesses intelligent solutions, including managed Wi-Fi 6, 5G routers, SD-WAN, next-generation campus switches and AI-based firewalls. 

The solution aims to reduce the average cost taken on by businesses to set up and accelerate the deployment of network components and links. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large corporations across all industries such as government, education, healthcare, hospitality and retail can benefit from these intelligent solutions.

SMEs represent an important sector in the national economy since they account for 98% of all private companies registered in Qatar according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. It is therefore natural for Starlink to support the development of this essential component of the economy by offering attractive packages for SMEs to assist them in setting up powerful & reliable ICT services such as Business Wi-Fi or 5G router.
