Doha, Qatar: Under the patronage and presence of Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Secretary-General of the National Planning Council (NPC), the Qatar Datathon 2025 conclude with presentations by the 5 finalist and an award ceremony for top 3 teams. ‘Qatar Datathon 2025’, is one of NPC’s key initiatives to support the community and empower Qatar’s brightest minds in data science.
Recognising the growing importance of data, NPC remains committed to raising awareness and nurturing talent in this field. The ‘Qatar Datathon 2025’ provided an interactive, mentor-led platform to enhance data management efficiency across multiple sectors, reinforcing Qatar’s efforts to harness data science for innovation and development.
During the ceremony, the first place went to the ‘Insighty’, consisting of Ahmed Ashraf, Youssef Aly, Sidi El Chaikh, Mohaned Walid, and Osama Hardan. The second place went to AWM, which included Waleed Al-Bahri, Mohammed Abu Haweeleh, Mohammed Al Haj, Mohammed Attiya, Abdulrahman Hamydeh, and Abdulrahman Al-Hiti.
The third place went to Inclusion, consisting of Ezzeddine Abou Zahr, Haneen Mosleh, Fatima Al Mohannadi, Chaima Otmani, Nour Otmani and Amal AlDarwish. The top five finalists showcased exceptional creativity and problem-solving that set them apart from a compelling talent pool that brought cutting-edge thinking to the forefront.
