One of the world’s leading brands in car detailing and paint protection film (PPF), Topaz Car Detailing, has opened its first branch in Qatar, at the City Centre Mall. Only the second outlet in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) after Bahrain, Topaz Car Care, was inaugurated by Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of Al Faisal Holding.

The storied car detailing brand will operate in Qatar after Optimized Holding acquired its franchise rights in Qatar from Topaz London.

Speaking to the media during the launch, Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of Optimized Holding, said partnering with Topaz brings highly-skilled service to Qatar and fills a gaping hole in the market.

“We are very happy for them (Topaz) to be here in Qatar, and as we know, Qatar is a very important market for cars in general — high end and classic cars. We can say that we have the best in car detailing and protection and make sure the car is in a position to be preserved for years to come. We realized we had a shortage in the market, and Topaz can deliver this service in the local market,” Sheikh Mohammed said. “We heard that many clients usually take their cars out of Qatar for this service, but today we have them here in Doha. There’s a highly qualified and trained team to work on cars, so we feel very confident to provide this service to our customers.”

Reda Salem, Group General Manager of Optimized Holding, disclosed that a significant portion of car enthusiasts are expected to patronize the outfit. Salem said Qatar’s market offers a genuine solution for customers who sometimes have to send their cars to London for the service. “We are expecting high patronage from the market because we offer top quality that cannot be found anywhere else in the market. We are sure to see a lot of business. People here like the service we offer because it keeps their cars in good shape and protected.

Sometimes they send their cars to London to get the same service we provide. They don’t have to do that anymore. We have 15 staff available who have completed seven months of a one-year training by our staff from London,” Salem said.

He added Topaz would open more outlets in the Industrial Area to streamline some of its operations and venture into Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwaiti markets.

In a statement, Nabil Naamo, Co-Founder of Topaz London, said: “The Qatari market is one of the most important and attractive markets in which we are looking to have a presence and providing high-quality services that contribute to maintaining the cars’ value. We are proud to work with a leading company like Optimized Holding with its excellent reputation, extensive knowledge of the local market, and commitment to providing high-quality products and services.”
