Amir attends graduation ceremony of Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College graduates

Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the graduation ceremony of the 17th batch of Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College Graduates at its headquarters Thursday morning.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, HE Minister of Defense of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Bashir Salihi Magashi, and a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers.

The ceremony was also attended by Commander of the Military College in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Major General Ali bin Saleh Ibrahim Alhudaif, Commander of the Military College in the Republic of Sudan Staff Major General Ahmed Mohammed Al Hassan Al Amas, Commander of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK Major General Duncan Francis, and Commander of the Military College in the Republic of Iraq Staff Major General Walid Hailan Kazim.

Commander of the Military College of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Major General Shahid Imtiaz, Commander of the Mutah University for Military Affairs in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Staff Brigadier General Rizq Abdul Rahman Al Rawashdeh, Commander of Sultan Qaboos Military College in the Sultanate of Oman Staff Colonel Mohammed Ahmed Al Mashikhi, the Commander of National Defense University in Mongolia Brigadier General Purevsuren Zhargalan, Director of Kuwait National Guard Training Institute Colonel Saleh Ghunaim Mutairan, Commander of the Ali Al-Sabah Military College in the State of Kuwait Brigadier General Khaled Shuja, and a number of leaders of colleges, institutes and security and military academies from brotherly and friendly countries also attended.

The ceremony was also attended by high-ranking officers of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard, the Lekhwiya Force, the State Security, Their Excellencies the heads of diplomatic missions in the country, and the graduates' parents. 

After the national anthem was played, the queue leader came forward to request HH the Amir to inspect the 201 graduates' queue from the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Afterward, the march of the graduates' queue and the military parade began, and HH the Amir honored the outstanding graduate students.

The flag was received and handed over from the 17th to the 18th batch. The appointment order was read, the parade queue left and the military parade began. At the end of the ceremony, the officers of the 17th batch took the oath and recited the college anthem.
