One death and 231 Covid-19 recoveries in Qatar on Oct 25

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 205 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 231 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 128,099. 

Out of the 205 new cases, 172 are community cases and 33 from travelers returning from abroad.

The Ministry also announced one death - aged 66 - who was receiving the necessary medical care.

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.

So far, 229 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.



The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 131,170 and there are 2,841 active cases under treatment. 

Ministry conducted 6,703 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 934,283 tests.

There are 29 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total patients in the hospital 377.

No patient was admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 33.

While the restrictions of COVID-19 are gradually being lifted in Qatar, it is important for everyone to play their role in controlling the virus by following precautionary measures:

- Adherence to physical distancing.

- Avoid close contact with others, crowded places, and confined closed spaces where other people congregate.

- Wearing a face mask.

- Washing hands regularly
