Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu (2nd R) meets opposition Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Leader Devlet Bahceli (2nd L) as part of the coalition talks in Ankara, Turkey, August 17, 2015.

ANKARA: The chairman of Turkey's election board, Sadi Guven, on Tuesday confirmed Nov. 1 as the date for a snap parliamentary election.

Turkey held a parliamentary election on June 7th but its political parties failed to form a working coalition government after Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu's AK Party was denied a single party government for the first time in 13 years.
